What's On - Art Classes and Events in November 2025

The clocks are back, the nights are dark, November is the perfect time to come out and spend some cosy time creating!

We’ve something for all ages this coming month. Our workshops are led by experienced art facilitators and the company will be friendly and relaxed so come along, and why not grab a friend and make a social event of it?

Tots to Teens - Art & Craft Workshops for Children

NEW - Oonagh’s Roots & Wings teens art class explores what makes you feel steady and supported, and what gives you the courage and inspiration to fly further! Now available on a Pay-As-You-Go basis.

Wildlings Creative Learning Hub provides a brilliant option for Home-Ed students to receive a structured block of arts lessons.

Marianne has a packed seasonal schedule with Messy Mornings on a Monday, and everyone’s favourite art-music-movement mashup, Messy Giggles with Kelsey on Saturday 22nd!

Graham’s iCreate are pretty full for the season but check out the remaining spaces and join his email waitlist if you can’t get the date you need.

Big Dipper Arts is back this month with his Kids Comic Club - 3rd Saturday of the month for 5-12 year olds.

Bangor Sketch Club - Jenni’s reformatted sketch walks, now with a Junior ticket option for 12-17s. Must be with a participating adult.

Louise’s Life Drawing Bangor Sessions have a clothed hour for the first part of the monthly Saturday session.

Workshops for Adults

We always feel a bit rejuvinated when Autumn comes around!

Bangor Sketch Club - Jenni leads the last sketch outing of the year - see listings for details

Jenni also has her annual linocut printmaking workshop on Sunday 16th - come and make your own hand-printed cards!

Heather connects to culture with the Celtic Wheel of the Year inspired crafts, while life drawing provides a session for all abilities, whether relaxation or technical practice.

Les continues his weekly abstract sessions, with a longer monthly Saturday session too.

Oonagh returns with mindful Art for the Heart, using a variety of mixed media techniques and journalling.

Gabriela’s jewellery classes remain popular both with the Jewellery Social on a Friday, and longer themed jewellery making class on the Saturday.

Anarchomedy is still riding the wave of their 4-star Edinburgh review - come along and see their latest material!

Although these classes are specifically for over 18s, some of our adult class facilitators may accept younger participants by arrangement, with an additional participating guardian, subject to availability and the suitability of the activity. Please get in touch with the facilitator to enquire.

Half Term Workshops @ WWT Castle Espie

We’re delighted to be running a week (Mon-Fri) of free drop-in workshops at WWT Castle Espie wetlands centre in Comber.

Starting Monday 27th October, different autumnal craft activities each day are free on a first-come-first-served basis.

Late Night Art Bangor - Studio Christmas Sale on Thurs 27th November

We love to see it! The City comes alive at night for Late Night Art Bangor.

Open Art is Back!

Open Art: Connect to Bangor returns from 3rd September thanks to funding from Public Health Agency through the Clear Project.

Our aim is to welcome people who may be new to our local community through participation and volunteering in the arts.
