New! Trade:Hub Incubator Space Opens in Boom 2

We are delighted to introduce you to our pilot initiative, now rolled out in Boom 2.

Trade:Hub occupies the large workshop. The open-plan shared unit now contains 6 starter studios, a communal table area and a staff hotdesk.

Designed to combine with Boom’s existing “Trade” professional development membership, this incubator space will run as a pilot until June 2026 and will be available to creatives who are at the beginning of their journey: emerging-stage artists makers & designers who have not had a professional studio before, and who would benefit from professional development support as part of their time at Boom. The studios therefore come with “Trade” membership included, with the expectation that studiomates participate fully in the programme. Opportunities to showcase work and/or workspace at Late Night Art Bangor and other events, avenues in to volunteering and further opportunities are also possible.

The Trade Programme, open to all artists, designers and makers as a rolling subscription, is a monthly themed access to online learning resources, tasks to apply to your business, a meet-up with Trade peers, masterclasses, annual website bootcamp, credits for coworking space and more.

The Trade:Hub incubator space is already housing creatives at the start of their professional studio journey, and the last few spaces are ready to welcome more!
