THURSDAY 25th SEPTEMBER - It’s finally time for the Sketchbook Library Project Exhibition!

Visit it at Boom HQ @ 80A Main St, Bangor, BT20 5AE, and don’t miss out on Boom 2 across the street at 51 Main St and Bingham Mall.

LNAB events are train-friendly, running between 6-9pm, with the hope that you will visit multiple venues and soak up all the arts sector has to offer. Which in Bangor, is a lot!

What’s on at Boom?

First floor studios (at time of writing)

Open Studios - pop in to visit Les, and view Claire from Nodo’s beautiful wall display of macrame and dried flower wreaths. If you can’t find Les - he may be upstairs at the exhibition!

Top floor workshop - Past The Label

Time TBC - Studiomate Jay McGilton and his colleagues in comedy production group Past the Label host a debrief on their time at Edinburgh Fringe, fresh on the success of their debut run with Scenes of Unfathomable Horror.

Sketchbook Library Project - Celebration Evening

We have installed a wall of sketchbooks, with wall-art inspired by the books also around the gallery. Choose a book to peruse and get lost in the beautiful, weird and wonderful submissions! A real treat.

Free autumnal workshop in the Trade Hub with Heather from Wild & Crafted Workshops. Caitie will also be in the hub and some of our Boom 2 artists also have work in the sketchbook exhibition
