Our workshops are led by experienced art facilitators and the company will be friendly and relaxed so come along, and why not grab a friend and make a social event of it?

Workshops for Adults

Whilst some classes take a break over Summer, there is still plenty on offer at Boom.

Les is back with both the weekly abstract Tuesday classes, and the longer monthly Saturday class - learn to let go and have fun with your art!

Heather connects to culture with the Celtic Wheel of the Year inspired crafts, while life drawing provides a session for all abilities, whether relaxation or technical practice.

Oonagh returns with adults art journalling, while Magdalena’s oil painting provides a relaxing guided session.

Gabriela’s jewellery classes are on a different date than usual - please see her booking page for details.

Although these classes are specifically for over 18s, some of our adult class facilitators may accept younger participants by arrangement, with an additional participating guardian, subject to availability and the suitability of the activity. Please get in touch with the facilitator to enquire.

Volunteering at Boom Studios - Get Involved!

We’re always looking to welcome new volunteers to Boom. Recent events include Sea Bangor stall where we promoted Boom Studios, or you may like to help Marianne with Messy Mornings, pick up a roller for a spot of DIY, or welcome visitors to Late Night Art Bangor. Always changing, always flexible, always welcome.

Sketchbook Library - Last Call for Participants!

It’s not too late to join/get started! Order a book, fill it over the Summer, return it to Boom for exhibition in the library.

We were delighted to be confirmed as delivery programme for King’s Trus art initiatives in Northern Ireland. Here is our next involvement - see story/contact info at the button below:
