But as the days get shorter and the chill truly sets in, the magic that happens inside our walls depends entirely on warmth and light.
The Challenge: The £3,000 Winter Bill
From November 1st, 2025, to February 28th, 2026, our essential electricity bill for heating, lighting, and running our equipment goes through the roof.
The total, unavoidable cost to keep the studio comfortable, functional, and safe for the winter season (17 weeks ) is £3,000.
This is a simple, non-negotiable cost of keeping the heat and lights on for our artists, designers and makers and for you!.

We could ask you to wear a jumper, and get up and move, but we want to keep it comfortable without raising our class prices and make art-making inaccessible.
Instead, we are asking our incredible community to step up and pay this bill with us.

£2 from you pays for the lights and warmth in the workshop for an entire evening workshop.
If every person who walks through our doors this winter contributes £2 , ( less than the cost of a takeout coffee), we will meet this goal.
