How to Write an Artist CV.
There is plenty of information on the web on how to write an Artist CV… this could be a very long post!
Heres some things to think about
Find an artist whose work you can relate to, align with or aspire to be and look up their CV.. read it and take notes (here is mine)
Know your audience (keep in mind who this is for and tailor it)
Keep it short ( the reader may be reading 100 a day) 2 pages max. ( Have a full length version available on your website and a shorter, relevant one responding to the ask)
Keep it sharp (accurate, clear & clean images)
Include a headshot
Get Feedback
Make sure your CV aligns with your online profiles ( Facebook Artist Pages, Linkdin)
