Back to After-School - Meet the Facilitators!
We’re excited to bring back the full range of Messy Monday programmes - especially the 2 after-school classes, which have been off during the school holidays. Each runs for 1 hour.
Messy Mornings: Babies and tots (and their young-at-heart guardians!) 10:30am
Messy Giggles: After school art & drama for P1-P3 2:15pm
Get Messy: After school art classes for P4-P7 3:30pm
This term, the after-school programme will be facilitated by a range of guest creatives as well as our studio director Marianne, let’s meet them!
Marianne Kennerley
Our studio director Marianne is Chief Messer! Running Messy Mornings for your babies and tots, as well as overseeing the art section of the younger Messy Giggles, and all the older Get Messy. Mess for everyone!
Kelsey Carroll
Kelsey usually works alongside her puppet colleagues as Squiggles and Giggles music & movement sessions, she will be leading the drama weeks in Messy Giggles.
Jenni Robinson
A landscape painter and printmaker based in one of our studios, this is her first term taking part in the after schools programme, and will be running Get Messy sessions Autumn Printmaking on 5th Sep, Spooky Party Decorations on 17th Oct and Christmas Card Printmaking on 28th November.
Graham Ginty
Graham runs the digital iCreate programme in Boom on the 2nd Saturday of every month. He joins the Get Messy programme on the theme of Comic Books (12th Sep), VFX filmmaking (10th Oct), 2D animation (14th Nov), and Beat Making/Digital Music (12th December).
Oonagh Nelson-Linden
Another studio artist, & art therapist, Oonagh is well known for her mixed media art and teen art journaling classes in Boom. She brings a lot to the Get Messy schedule, including Art & Yoga on 19th Sep & 24th Oct, Art Journaling on 21st Nov and Christmas Decorations on 19th Dec.
