Week 2: Designing, painting and creating homemade collage papers. Making homemade washi tape and tea bag ribbons using gelli plate printing and mixed media. Filling in our journals with lots of art!

Week 3: Making tags and envelopes. Journal time/ free art-making time.

Week 4: Art Journaling

In the second block, we will explore how to upcycle and re-purpose an old book to use as an art journal. More details will follow in due course.

These workshops provide an opportunity to experience creativity in a small group that is gentle and supportive. The focus is on the making, the doing, a space where there is no right or wrong. We will explore new techniques and learn creative ways to use recycled materials and mixed media.

Each participant will learn a new skill, creativity will be enhanced and working in a small group will inspire conversations and connection.

Our instinct as a young human is to pick up a crayon and make marks, something we easily forget as an adult. We are all creative, we can all put a pen to paper and allow something to emerge.

With guidance and encouragement, participants will take inspiration from the themes provided.

No experience of art making is necessary. All materials are provided. Please bring an apron or old shirt. Refreshments will be provided.
